1. LIABILITY & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All patrons must sign a liability waiver before use. Parents must sign for all players under 18.
Waivers must be signed and submitted before use of the facility is granted. A link to the waiver form can be found at www.hittershideaway.com or via the QR Code at the bottom of this poster.
Use of the batting cages is at your own risk.
Follow all posted signage and additional instructions for your safety.
2. SAFETY FIRST
Wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate athletic attire always. No metal cleats.
Use protective gear when hitting (batting helmet) or catching (mask).
Sit/Stand at least 2 feet away from the perimeter netting, AT ALL TIMES when someone is hitting.
No live BP without using a L or Z screen. NO DRY SWINGS OUTSIDE OF THE CAGE.
Alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair judgment are strictly prohibited.
Stealing of Jobu’s rum is STRICTLY prohibited.
3. EQUIPMENT USE
PICK UP ALL BALLS BEFORE LEAVING!
Use equipment only as directed by facility staff and only if it is included in your rate.
If you decide to upgrade your package pre or mid session to include pitcher’s aids, pocket radar or Rapsodo* let us know and we will make it happen.
Do not modify or misuse any equipment
Report any facility damage or equipment malfunction immediately to a staff member.
Exercise extreme caution when moving equipment and accessories - you are responsible for any injury to yourself or damage to our equipment. Let ownership move or adjust the machines and mounds for you.
Adhere to the pitch coordinates on the Hack Attacks and always stay behind a protective screen when feeding the machine.
4. CONDUCT & BEHAVIOR
When in doubt, women and children first.
The use of the speakers is free to everyone but when sharing the space, please be respectful of the fact that not everyone likes Country, Death Metal or Jam Bands. Use common sense.
No horseplay, or reckless behavior in the building.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Treat this facility as if it were your own. We are all one extended baseball and softball family and we feel privileged to be able to offer you the use of this building. A little respect for the building will go a long way to ensuring that it will be available 365 days a year.
5. FACILITY GUIDELINES
No flushing anything but toilet paper down the toilet as you might jack up the septic tank. Feminine Products go in the trash, not in the toilet.
Outside food and beverages (except water) are not allowed in the building, but feel free to
use the outdoor picnic table.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Secure your personal belongings; the facility is not responsible for lost or stolen items but we will be able to look back and identify the theft on camera. If you find something that is not yours, let us know immediately and we will put the item into our lost and found or we will be able to identify the owner by looking at camera footage.

*Rapsodo use is limited to players who have a player profile set up with Hitter’s Hiedeaway and must be reserved 24 hours in advance. Use the QR Code below to either sign in on the iPad (if you have a current active Rapsodo player profile) or to purchase Rapsodo access for use on your next visit. Rapsodo use costs $10/month billed on a prorated basis (if you enlist in May we bill you for June-Dec (7 months) or $100 dollars per year when purchased in December or January. Rapsodo access does not renew and must be repurchased. Once a membership is purchased you will be required to watch a short Rapsodo tutorial to ensure that you are getting the most out of the technology.
